I have to use skin protective wipes like SKIN-PREP or Cavilon barrier film before adhering any thing with adhesives bc I tried way too many dressings with no success and that helped.

have you asked for baby patches? there are special ones made for the sensitivity of infant skin and they were the least problematic for me.
