I’d understand just recording the end where they are doing their bows, that’s what I did when I saw the nutcracker ballet. Didn’t record anything but their bows at the end and took a photo of the curtains at the beginning since it was a painted curtain

I fully agree with this whole video but I do hope this show is recorded legitimately. I am really curious about how a stage adaptation will work but getting myself to London to watch this just isn't something I am up for doing so I am hopeful there is some way to watch it online maybe after the run in a way that was fully sanctioned and professional recording. I think it would be great for a lot of the fans from other countries who aren't able to literally fly to London too!

Yeh totally agree theatre eticate is my biggest bug bear at the min especially when films are being made into shows or like the steps musical where it uses the soundtrack so its fans of the films or band and not people who usually like musicals or plays - I’ve had people walking about mid show / walking out cause there’s to many songs in it and going loo or bar every 2min in creaky theaters let alone filming! My child’s been going theaters since he was 5 now 11 and he understands theater eticate and he can’t believe people’s behaviour sometimes!

Agreed!! I definitely don’t want to see any actual footage, it’s so exciting to see the theatre up and the stage looks amazing!! And I want the full experience when we eventually go

Exactly. And not even just the filming, the "here's how book accurate THG on stage was", "here's how different from the books THG on stage was", "here's what THG on stage took from the movie" posts are actually infuriating. I DONT WANT TO KNOW!! I want to have an experience! What's the point of going to see something if you know exactly what happens?

I'm seeing it in November, I've already seen so many clips. I studied theatre, I got a BAhons in performance. Seeing how some people act in the audience is honestly a nightmare, I've had people film stuff I've been in before and we've reported it backstage but it depends on the venue if they actually take action or not :(((
