Every cell in their bodies is telling them they don’t wanna go to school and I used to feel that way as a kid, and I totally understand it. I homeschool my kids and I have zero of this. I do send them to an enrichment program one day a week and I have no problems getting them out of bed because it’s only once a week and it’s specialized for homeschool kids. But I understand why parents need to send their kids to school. I did it with my first child. I was very young. I was working and going to school and I didn’t have a choice, but I always had it in the back of my mind that I wished I had another option. So second round of kids as I was older I created a situation for myself to where I could homeschool them and I know not everybody can do that, but it’s in my opinion a much more natural process and doesn’t go against their instinct.

This is all my kids! On our way to school this morning I asked my son, who is 13, where his football pants were, he thought for a second and said, just helmets today. I said, are you going to practice in your helmet and jeans and boots? He looked at me like, oh ya, you’re right.
