I have theory that most people, not matter what they tell themselves, know right from wrong and as most bullies grow up, the guilt of that will feel like a ton of bricks. What could be more appealing than getting that “clean slate” without having to ask themselves big, uncomfortable questions like why were they acting like that in the first place?

I went back to college as an older “nontraditional” student. Most of the cohort I was in were these girls. 😅 I got the worst vibes from them and always felt judgement. They were v cliquey. I called them the church camp girls 😆

As a Christian who’s been bullied by Christian girls, I’ve found that you really have to separate Christ and the church bcuz they’re really two different things nowadays. The mean church girls are “you must do this” “you can’t do that” “that’s a sin,” BUT Jesus is all about love. We are saved by grace through faith through Him, NOT by works (being good). He loves you, me, all of us. I’m so sorry if Christian girls have been mean to you and have misrepresented the gospel to you. ❤️🩹 You are so right about how the Bible really says to love one another. <3

I feel like it’s more simple than this. Christianity offers this “clean slate” policy where if you accept Christ as your lord and savior, you’re guaranteed a spot in heaven. Everyone can make out some understanding of right and wrong, and those that cannot reconcile with the accountability for poor choices or behavior from their past, Christianity is a nice easy option
