wouldn't rebuild be cheaper? 🤔 I mean if just the shafted snapped off why not just replace shafted and than other components like drive shaft and yoke and few air lines. ?

Nice work lads, I was always taught to give inside the housing a coat of paint or primer after cleaning, it traps any small metal that you can’t get out in the paint so it doesn’t get in the new gear oil

The yoke on my differential has some play. I was told that adjusting it should fix the issue. I noticed in your video you used a 1-inch impact to tighten it — is there a specific torque I shouldn’t exceed when tightening the yoke nut? The play isn’t excessive, but there’s definitely a bit of movement.
