I've got an ancient 2 story house and I can never get it clean...so thankful my landlord is working with me as I remodel it so it's at least easy to clean.

as a handyman, I can fix all of those issues, and you can too! the countertop burn, pick out all the black damaged wood and plastic cut it out with a utility knife if you need. fill it with a colored epoxy as close as you can get to the original. yellowed plastic, look up videos, but use Gelled bleach on them. It works! the gouge in the hard wood. looks like the whole floor needs to be refinished, but for the gouge, lightly sand affected area with an orbital sander, remove saw dust from sander and smoosh it into the gouge, apply thin super glue, lightly sand again, reapply saw dust and glue, sand once more, then apply a finish on the floor, aerosol polyurethane would be a decent temporary clear coat until you can sand the entire floor and refinish it.
