@englishwithreeka: Can someone please explain to me why the workday in Georgia 🇬🇪 at 10am and ends at 6pm? The majority of the world starts their workday at 8am, 9 at the latest, and here usually nothing is open until past 10 or even sometimes 11 am. For me, as an American, it's madness! How is that good for productivity? Or the economy? Why is it a habit to go to bed super late, wake up super late, and start working super late? I've never understood this even after 14 years if living here because to me, it doesn't make much sense as a human being. Not just because of capitalism or something, but because we should be rising with the sun. It's part of our DNA. I always feel so productive in the morning and many Georgians tell me the complete opposite. 🤷🏽‍♀️ They feel exhausted and tired 💤until after noon and enjoy staying up late. Is it a cultural thing? Is it part of the Georgian DNA? Does it have anything to do with being a post soviet country?
