I have an orphan oc. BUT WAIT HEAR ME OUT. The orphanage made a deal with a cult and the kids were monthly used for a sacrifice for a powerful entity. But THIS specific oc was made of pure magic and her body “rejected” the sacrifice ritual, managing to escape but staying marked for her whole life. (And there’s more to it.)

I had a oc who used to work as a mime in a young age, but in her birthday, she came back home late to see her parents at the kitchen dead on the ground, with them being eaten by a bunch of c4nnibals with the leader of them, charged towards her. She tried to go and call 911 but they didn’t believe her since she only spoke French. Later on got caught by the leader, locked inside a closet for 4 months Witt no food, water, and sleep. While she tried to stay conscious, she saw the closet door open, just to find out it was the leader of the c4nnibals opening it since she got hungry and wanted to eat the poor child. She ended up dying by being eaten alive then thrown in a cold pond where no one could find her.

People also forget it doesn't have to be early childhood trauma. Maybe they experienced a lockdown when they were in school that scarred them for life. Maybe they were an abused housewife. Maybe they tried to talk someone down from a ledge and failed, and now blame themselves. There's SO many ideas out there, the same copy and paste ones just don't have the depth

Okay u asked for it. My oc is raised by his narcissistic sister,forced to be a sorcerer ever since the capitol,aka the government in the past so he's supposed to be a perfect,no mistakes future protecter of a town he's not really familiar with. After reuniting with his Father he starts making weird and kinda strict rules even though he's already at a age that he should have his own world. After helping and falling in love with my main oc but realizes she already has someone in the other world he starts making more and more mistakes and almost got cut of the head because of the government. Like it now?

my oc was adopted by a wonderful woman then her adoptive mom left her one night and then she was actually the lost princess and was forced into becoming a princess and pressured because she was the heiress and her aunt which was like her mother figure was actually inlove with her boyfriend and want to steal the thrown away from her, and see has to kill her mother figure, and then she lost her friends, and then her friends got possessed and she has to fight them, and then she lot the love of her life, then the love of her life came back to life, then the love of her life was brainwashed by her aunt which used to be like a mother to her and the love of her life and aunt kissed in front of her (her lover was brainwashed by her aunt) then she still has to fight some ancient God and has to watch her every move in camera or public cause she's still a princess, pressured into making up a plan to win the battle between the forces of good and evil, has to kill her lover, her friends hate her, a goddess want to pass their powers to her which mean she has to get rid of the life she has and leave her friends and family, and there's sooooooo much more, and she also has a narsisstic grandfather

My OC grew up being tortured for being a beautiful boy, because his parents village despised non-average looking people (inspired from cult mindset....exceot beauty in this case) so him and his parents was designed and banned from this village, which had his parents blame him and be disgusted by his very existence.. that eventually lead to when he was 15 and rich girl wanna marry him, so his mother takes him into the forrest and kills him by cutting him in multiple pieces. A demon funnily enough passed by and offer my oc his body and power, which have my oc stitch back together. Now he is a human soul trapped in a demon body molded into being his own, and he slowly loses his soul (because demon gotta eat) which means he will eventually turn into a fully demon.

sleep deprivation torture since the age of 6. they were punished for falling asleep but not forcefully kept awake, so it's a strong mental block preventing them from sleeping. my OC stays up most nights (maybe she passes out for 1-2 hours) drawing the things she sees when she closes her eyes she has a whole gallery of eyes, monsters, bloodshed etc.
