i'm ok now but i remember when i was young and didn't know what happened to Sayori, until i experienced it without knowing it was depression. I remember asking why was she like that and didn't feel comfortable but now i relate to her or related to wich is comfort in a certain way i guess

She is the best representation I’ve ever seen for depression. Not only that, but the way that her character archetype aided in how her depression was written was extremely clever. Taking the quirky traits that characters like her have of always getting up too late or having messy hair and flipping it on its head like that was really smart! Plus, by doing that, the game commented on a massive part of depression that most people don’t bring up. I appreciate that.
