It’s triggering to see all the comments about parents not liking their animals as much anymore. A lot of dogs end up in rescues because of this. People who are planning families should think ahead before getting a dog 😡

I love my pets but having 3 kids made me realize they are NOT our babies... I do love seeing my kids grow up around animals though and they are part of the family but in their own way!

It’s not like the same with the older kid when you have a second child you really actually want to make sure older kid is not feeling that it’s not about them 🥰 dogs do get to your nerves postpartum 🫣 it gets better he will get the routine as well 🥰

I yelled at my dogs so much the first month because like 'WTF are you guys doing?!'. now that baby is 4 months the dogs don't annoy me anymore lol

I’m so obnoxiously mean to my dog now that I have babies. N everytime I get a second to breath I feel so bad for it. 1 and 2 year old boys. And now it’s absolutely not the same with the kids lol I’d say if anything the complete opposite. We got home from the hospital with our second and all I wanted to do was hold my first born.

I definitely think there is truth to what Alex is saying. The first couple months after my second kid was born, any noise my toddler made, it was a struggle to contain my rage.
