I'll admit I haven't looked into it, but it seems like the law of diminishing returns *must* apply to feeding their shells back to them. The calcium came from them in the first place, and there is no way 100% is going back into them.

Do you find a difference between brands? Mine would NOT touch those ones, started having soft shells. Bought a different brand and they went wild eating it and issues went away.
