I was on 116th between Malcolm X & Adam Clayton Powell at night & it literally POPPED UP on my iTunes. I SCREAMED like I was being attacked, the police rolled up like “What happened?!” I told them “BEYONCÉ GOT A NEW ALBUM OUT!” & the POLICE was like “NO WAY!” And started blasting it on the squad car. I remember it so well! I had floor seats to her concert that night in Louisville. She made the announcement that it was her 100th show and she wanted to do something special. As always, it was phenomenal! I’m riding home on such a high and then saw the drop! It took days to come down from cloud 9 💕✨
