I had some very horrible tenants for 1 year and they caused over $100,000 in water damage. I will b posting the videos of the finished work soon. Been working on the restoration after damage for 2 years 😓🤦🏻♀

Worked at a bank before yes there are fraudulent cashiers checks, people are wow I’m scared to go to jail so I wouldn’t be able to try and use nothing fraudulent.

Cashier checks be cancel, you can say you lost them. It’s weird. Nothing is safe now days.

Cashier's checks are easy to fake. I always take them directly to the bank they are drawn on to pull funds or gave the bank verify it is valid before I deposit it. Cashier's checks can't be disputed because they are purchased with cash, so if there is a problem with one, it's because it is fake. I will not accept cashier's checks that are drawn on banks that don't have a local branch. Anybody that expects to move in within ten days of paying their deposit and first month's rent must pay it in cash. That way, if they pay with a personal check, it gas time to clear before I hand over keys. Their lease says that if they give me a bad check for the deposit and first month's rent, the lease is automatically voided and they will not receive keys. I hate to be a hard ass with people, but you can't give anybody any slack. I've had people try to move in unauthorized pets, unauthorized girlfriends, and I've received fake pay stubs before. I always run credit checks and background checks and I verify employment and income. i don't bother talking to the current landlord because if they really want somebody out, they're going to give them a glowing review anyway. If I have any concerns, I may talk to previous landlords, but not current.
