I agree with you! I always go over any potential density charges before the service. Yesterday I had a new client and during the consultation I let her know that she might need an extra bowl of color now that I was feeling her hair ($20). She nodded that it would be ok but seemed a little taken aback. Then at check out I realized why, it’s because she had brought exact change in cash so I had to run the $20 by itself on her card. I almost just didn’t charge it because theres nothing I hate more than a split payment 😭
