honestly, the more advanced the weaponry of kine, the less of a valid standing point the factions of the Kindred world had in believing their complete and utter superiority of humans, even if they consistently ignore their many weaknesses like the sun being damnation unless they've got enough points in fortitude to just moonwalk in the sunlight

I guarantee he's not dead the guy has a soak pool of at least 10 and shotguns have a damage pool of 8, not to mention they don't deal aggravated damage.... it's more likely he used his 5-7 dots of dominate to implant the false memory of his death in everyone present so he could get out of dodge
