He’s essentially saying that proving yourself to others or trying to validate your worth to others means that you’re with thr wrong people, and you should find friends who value you and see your worth. The cookies being burnt is a metaphor that trying to be liked or perceived by others to also just agree is wrong. The takeaway of this is know your worth, don’t try to be liked and agree just to have friends, find value in yourself without justifying yourself to others to have them in your life, the right people will find you

Explanation - You will never be appreciated (like the cookies) by someone who doesn't like those cookies. You can't force them to like them, they do or they don't. Trying to get yourself to be appreciated by the wrong people will never do anything for your self worth and why would you want them to like you? How about liking yourself? Focusing on yourself? Why make people eat a burnt version of you instead of focusing on making the ingredients and the end product amazing that people will want to eat. Stop focusing on why people don't like you and focus on what you can do to like yourself more, you'll find the right people naturally and you'll taste amazing 😏
