@za_reptiles: For me it’s bearded dragons 🫣 They were never a reptile I was interested in to begin with, but I made an exception for Tanzy because she was a special needs baby and she was so gosh darn cute! 🥰 But one is certainly enough for me! #reptiles #reptilesoftiktok #reptilekeepers #petreptiles #reptilemom
as someone who is about to adopt a Bearded Dragon..may I ask why people are against them?

Only one I’ve ever had so far but crested gecko. No offense to them but they aren’t my favorite. I feel like I would enjoy mourning geckos more

lol. I have 10 beardies. Love them to death. For me it’s king snakes. They are a little too much for me. Their intensity can be next level.

Probably beardies or ball pythons. As sweet as both they are they’re basic. Beardies require so much equipment, energy, and time. They are so expensive. And ball pythons are bad eaters and just kinda boring. Neither really interest me.

Crested geckos. In my 16 years of keeping, I have never experienced any other species with such a high susceptibility to illness. They are top notch at hiding symptoms (and hiding in general) until it is too late.

I agree on the beardies, they almost made me completely lose interest in keeping reptiles 😭

I feel the same. I have one I took in as a rescue and love him dearly. However, I’m not sure about when people say they’re expensive to take care of and keep. Bc to me they are basically and easy. But my interest is in iguana keeping and they are by far the most expensive high and maintenance I’ve experienced so far! But I’m addicted lol

Pac man frog probably. They aren’t complicated or anything I just prefer animals that I can interact with a bit more

Gargoyle gecko. Sleeps all day, active late at night. Beautiful creature but I never see him.

Leo's, since getting monitors I can't imagine getting something without their sort of energy and interactivity. plus every leo I've had or met has hated me for some reason lol

Bearded Dragon. My last two both died from hidden illness or overbreeding, I can’t deal with a heartbreak at 3 yrs and a 8 months again

Hello from Australia 👋🏾😊 An olive pyhton. My girl is currently 12feet long and growing and she eats large rabbits that cost $55 each. Beautiful snakes, but housing, and feeding is wild haha! 1 olive will do me for my life 😅
