I think it’s speaks more on the character of the guys who think this way. I’m not gonna go out of my way to get a random person a job. That doesn’t mean I don’t value my friendships and connections with the women in my life. Overly nice from any random person is a red flag.

I very recently learned this and it’s true. I never had guy friends growing up and now I still don’t because they truly do all just want something from u. It’s okay to be friendly but not friends! I never ever get close to men unless I want to be romantically involved with them🤷🏼♀

it is both true and not true. there are a lot of men who are like this. there are also a lot who are not like this. the problem is you cant really tell without some personal experience with the individual in question. meeting their friends is a good way to meet other people who think similarly so if you find a good one you probably can find others as friends of friends, but it works the other way too.
