I graduated and passed the board exam, my brothers are now in college, ate and kuya are married now and now, it’s my turn. I’m getting married, and deep in my heart, I still wish it would be you walking me down the aisle. When you left, it felt like our whole world was falling apart. You left us the only thing you could, and I cherished it with all my heart. Now it’s gone. Our family found peace and moved on, and I am truly happy for them but I am still here, praying for healing and asking God to help me move forward. The truth may have been buried with you, but I know God sees everything, and He holds the truth. Maybe God allowed it to happen for a purpose, maybe to protect us, to save us, or to lead us to something greater than I couldn’t understand right now. Growing up without a father has never been easy, but I thank God for giving us peace and providing for us every day. When we were lost, Jesus found us and held our family together.
