@lexiemcdonald_: October is pregnancy & infant loss awareness month… which is ironic because it is the same month my first baby would have been born. Earlier this year we were that 1 in 4. Something I never thought we would personally experience… a heartbreak that you cannot understand until it happens to you and I pray it never does. But if it has, I see you & you are not alone, it was not your fault. Now, there is no way to put into words how it feels to be pregnant with your rainbow baby, knowing you wouldn’t have the baby you have now if you never experienced loss in the first place. The healing that this pregnancy and baby boy has brought to us already is unexplainable and I thank God every single day for him and the bumpy road I faced in order to make it to him.
