I personally have a basket full of ~100 squeaky toys I buy in bulk, and every day or two I let my dog “pick one”. They last 10 minutes but they make her day. And the picking process is adorable

I had an English Mastiff. The only toy he could ever have was a Kong Ball...no matter the advertising, he would destroy the "indestructible" toys within 5 minutes

I hate being that person but it’s a stegosaurus, not a t-rex. One of my dogs loves to preserve his toys but our other destroys everything. It’s a fun dynamic for sure.

I'm also trusting the algorithm... but what I would possibly do with a new puppy is give her a cone a hollowed out cone put peanut butter in it and put it in the freezer for an hour or two and then give it back to her

Sometimes the best thing is to lean into it. If she finds destruction fun, give her something to destroy on purpose. Find a "yes". A paper towel roll works great as long as she isn't ingesting anything. Freezing peanut butter or eggs or even dog food in a tupperware and giving her the cube (outside...)
