@danboyd10: Bayern Munich tactical analysis 🧐 Vincent Kompany is doing bits at Bayern Munich and here’s a great insight into how they play. Often in this game Kimmich dropped in to the backline to create the overload which would then allow the full backs to go high and try create 2v1s in wide areas. In this specific clip the central midfielder drops in as well which allows Jackson the ST to drop into the midfield area . This is powerful as he also is an extra number to help dominate possession but also he is in a position that defenders hate as they don’t really want to follow that far. They follow enough to disorganise the back line and it’s a great chance for Bayern. I’m looking forward to watching them more as I was particularly impressed with how high the defensive line were when in possession to try and sustain the attack and ofcourse it was interesting to see Harry Kane spraying balls about from CM . #footballanalysis #footballcoaching #football #footballtactics
