I’d seen a few requests to try Manny’s for a takeaway night, but I’d actually been before. Since that video, lots of new people have followed me, so it’s buried down my feed! Since December, when I first reviewed them, they’ve released a Loaded Naan Pizza 😱. When I saw this, I was honestly so curious, imagine your favourite pizza toppings but on a naan instead of dough! Well, you don’t need to imagine anymore because Manny’s have made it happen! It’s kind of like a secret menu item, you’ve got to call your local Manny’s branch to order it since it’s not available on delivery apps or their website. Totally worth it though if you want to join the cool crowd eating pizza toppings on naan 😂. A massive thank you to Manny’s for gifting me this Pizza Naan to try and review for free 🥹. These opportunities wouldn’t be possible without your support! I only paid for my milkshake because I had a sweet tooth craving! Pizza Naan 🍕 🫓 £12-£13 Depending on Topping Choice! There are MANNY of your favourite pizza toppings to choose from (had to bring that pun back hehe), but I went for a meat feast! Having a naan bread pizza really hits different, this was honestly delicious. The naan had a lovely buttery hint that paired perfectly with the cheese and meats. I’m assuming it was cooked like a pizza from raw dough, as it had those crispy edges you’d expect. You’d almost forget it was naan if it weren’t for the buttery flavour! I thought the dough would be fluffier, but I actually loved the naan taste, fresh and a great base for the toppings. Using naan also made it a less oily pizza overall, so easier to digest! The meats had strong flavours, I believe there was ham, doner and pepperoni. I’d recommend sharing between two people as it’s quite filling. The tomato sauce had a subtle flavour that paired well with the cheese, giving that classic takeaway pizza taste. A nice twist on a pizza! 9/10 Fries 🍟 £2.25 The fries were a great side with the naan pizza! The chip spice wasn’t evenly distributed, but that meant I could enjoy the natural flavour too. I love when you can taste the potato enhanced by its oils, and that’s exactly what I got here. Crispy outside, soft inside! The spiced ones elevated the flavour, but most customers might prefer more even seasoning (Hull folk love their chip spice!). Luckily for Manny’s, I enjoy them both ways! 9/10 Sauces Three sauces came with the meal, boosting the chip flavours! Manny’s House Sauce: Like a spicy mayo but not too tingly, I think it’s Manny’s house sauce. 9/10 Mint Yoghurt: Nice creamy balance of mint and yoghurt, better with salad but still good! 8.5/10 Spicy Tomato Sauce: A tingly kick that might not be for everyone, but I liked it, worked surprisingly well with the chips. 8.5/10 Salad 🥗 I usually save my takeaway salads for the next day! I liked the mix of onion, cabbage, lettuce and carrots, all had a great crunch. The mint dressing really enhanced the flavour. 8.5/10 Ferrero Milkshake 🥛 £5.50 I’m not usually a milkshake person with takeaways, but I had a sweet tooth craving, so I paid for this to go with my meal, my first Manny’s milkshake! Loved the chocolatey, nutty flavour, the combo of Ferrero and vanilla was delicious. The little Ferrero pieces melted on the tongue. The cream on top was light and fluffy, and the milkshake itself was the perfect consistency, not too thick or runny. The rich chocolate sauce really tied it together. 9/10 Overall 9/10! I NAANt believe how tasty this was (new pun unlocked 😂). A great takeaway night option! Last time, my Manny’s order was an hour late, but this time it arrived bang on time. I think they’ve opened more branches around Hull, which has helped with demand.
