Sigur! Diaspora a votat PACE!

After leaving our vault, some of the faces behind @The Hollywoodland News that is Halloween Horror Nights at Universal Studios. With the heat of the Wasteland beating down on us, we were all hankering for grub when we arrived at Filly Foodstuffs. As the Director of Culinary Arts, I felt it was necessary to document our experiences with the Surface Dweller's cuisine. Choi and Kristi both joined me in devouring these delectable treats. We even rated our items out of 10 with 1 being the worst and 10 being the best. ——— Foodstuffs: Both Choi and myself tried the Roasted Roadroach Legs. These are blackened turkey wings with a side of pub fries and cost 5 caps ($17.99 in prewar money). Choi gave them 7.5/10. I gave them 6.5/10 as they were rather messy. If I hadn’t been sitting at a table, this would have been difficult to eat. My fingers were covered in whatever they rubbed the legs in. I felt like this is a meal I would have expected at a sit down restaurant like in those Cooper Howard pictures where they at least give you wipes for your hands. Kristi ate the Iguana on a Stick which was a cheesy cornflake crusted corn dog. It cost 4 caps ($12.99 prewar) and she gave it a rating of 7/10. Kristi would have loved it had a little more crunch to it. Kristi and I were clearly missing our time in the vault when we both got Vault Dwellers Wedding Cake. It is a red velvet sponge cake with cream cheese mousse. It cost 3 caps ($8.99 in prewar money) and we both gave it a 10/10. The sponge cake was moist and the mousse was the perfect amount of sweetness to balance it out. My only wish is I had grabbed another before continuing on our journey through the Wasteland. ——— Drinks: For drinks, I appreciated they had both alcoholic and non-alcoholic options. If I was not on the first watch for our group, I would have imbibed some liquor for warmth in the cold desert night. Kristi had The Nuclear Blast cocktail. It had vodka, peach schnapps, blue curacao, orange and lemon juice, simple syrup, and Sprite topped with a dehydrated lemon wheel. It was 5 caps ($18.00 prewar) and Kristi gave it an 8/10. She said it was sweet, but refreshing. Choi drank the Quantum Fizz mocktail. It was made of blue raspberry Sprite with a sour blue raspberry rim. It cost 4 caps ($12.00 in prewar money) and she gave it a 3/10. I thought I was making the smart decision by having the RadAway drink to proactively fight any radiation we may experience here in the Wasteland. It was a chipotle pineapple brown sugar lemonade served in a blood bag. It cost 4 caps ($12.00 prewar) and I gave it a 4.5/10. I did struggle figuring out how to drink it at first, but with the help of another wanderer I got it open. The pineapple was the strongest flavor which I liked. However, the chipotle aspect left a weird feeling/texture in my mouth afterwards. I would have liked it if the lemonade had poked through a bit more. I did keep the bag to reuse should we need it on our journey. ——— Dishonorable Mention: Before making camp for the night, we did pass by a small Barbecue stall where I tried the Jason Universe Mask S’more. It consisted of a Fireroasted Marshmallow, Graham cracker, milk chocolate, and blood spatter. It cost 3 caps ($8.99 prewar) and was the one item I would have skipped as I rated it a 2/10. The 2 is solely for the shape of the marshmallow and the blood splatter. It’s served chilled so the chocolate doesn’t melt, which is one of the points of a S’more. Only the exterior of the mask shaped marshmallow is toasted so you’re biting into an uncooked non-gooey marshmallow. I feel like this one would have worked better if it was some kind of marshmallow treat sold in one of those emporiums I kept seeing. ——— This may be my last communication until we arrive in New Vegas. If that’s the case I’ll leave you with this, wanderers stay safe out there. @Halloween Horror Nights @Universal Studios Hollywood @Fallout @Bethesda @Prime Video #universalstudioshollywood #fallout #halloween #halloweenhorrornights2025 #nukacola
