@drnighatarif: Is this mold in your #period #pad??!! Period tampons, pads have been in existence for over 60 years- there is rigorous checks on products, safety standards & strict hygienic rules during their production. This viral video is showing the absorption fibres in a pad under the light. The real scandal is that we still don’t know what’s a normal period. How to manage heavy periods and only in 2023 some period product brands started using REAL blood 🩸 #CapCut
Started using period pants 3 years ago and would never go back…

Madd Mags 🌙💫 :
regarding Always pads: I've been using them pretty much all my life and I thought that sore skin after around that area is just a part of life, now I found out some chemical in them actually aggregates the skin and I'm trying to find a good replacement for very large nighttime pads with no luck, any recommendations from the ladies in the UK? btw I've been using different brands and haven't had that problem since!

I think youd be able to tell if a pad was mouldy without a light 😅

I’ve stopped using Always ones. I’m now using Flo and Bodyform. I’ve not been in any discomfort since swapping.

This makes sense but always pads smell super chemically and cause burns- other brands don't do this so I do wonder what is actually in the always ones either way

It’s not mould, it’s just clusters of cotton that are creating a shadow

I went and checked multiple pads I have from different brands and some were white and others had dark patches, it turned out the patches were darker fibers used in the pad for making it absorbant. lots of dark patches but
no mold
