My son used to fight baths sometimes until I started giving options- shower bath (plug drain when shower running), double bath (slightly more water), goober bath (make silly noises the whole time), night bath (turn off the lights and use a nightlight in the bathroom)

i tell my three year old that i really need a spa day. while he’s in the tub i sit on the edge and put my feet in. i give him a washcloth to wash my feet and while i wash him. he thinks it’s so silly that he’s giving me a bath too that he doesn’t fight it

This came up right as my 4 yr old was saying no to bath so I figured, what the heck, let’s try it! It worked sooo well and you are a genius! All-out giggles while she ran around, picked up a few leaves, and stood in the mulch. No big mess, right into bath after while still laughing.✨💞

In the winter we rave. Glow sticks from the Dollar tree, a floating pool blinky light I got on clearance, and marshmellow on the waterproof speaker.
