@washingtonstatedot: Here’s a closer look at the damage to the Bullfrog Road overpass over I-90 near Cle Elum after it was struck by an over-height load on Oct. 21. We’ve hired an emergency contractor to remove the damaged westbound overpass so westbound I-90 can safely reopen. Demolition is scheduled to begin Thursday, Oct. 23. Weather permitting, demolition work will wrap up and westbound lanes will reopen to traffic early next week. Here’s what travelers need to know: - During demolition, westbound traffic will continue to detour using the off- and on-ramps at Exit 80. Eastbound I-90 will remain open, though an eastbound lane overnight Thursday closed during the demolition starting at 6 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 23 until 8 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 25. -To keep I-90 traffic moving, travelers on Bullfrog Road cannot access the westbound on-ramp to I-90. -I-90 travelers going to Suncadia/Roslyn area need to use exit 85 to State Route 903. -Travelers on westbound I-90 needing access to south Bullfrog Road and Leisure Lane will detour to exit 78 and go east on I-90 to exit 80. how do you not know your clearance as a truck driver? Can we stop giving anyone a CDL please. Also if it was oversized wouldn’t he have had a pilot car. So between pilot and truck drivers no one thought maybe they wouldn’t make it? Suspend his license

If you don't want to Google it the short story is the driver had a oversized load permit that required them to exit around this overpass and due to some confusion they failed to exit and the pilot car failed to stop this from happening. Don't worry, the driver got fined $250👍
