Another creator made a video asking people to donate to food banks to prep for next month and I was happy she did bc I didn’t even think about that. If more creators reminded people they could help in that way it could really make a big impact.

I’ve been so disappointed seeing so many people acting like anyone on snap benefits is just lazy. Things are tough out here for most of us and if we could all show each other just a little compassion and empathy, this country would be so much better.

We have to learn to respond and not react. I get all wound up on social media sometimes but i have started to respond and delete. Then I ask myself, “do I really need to respond” or “post this”? Just those few minutes give me enough time to evaluate. Social media is a battlefield and so very difficult for all of us to navigate. 🫶🏻

Yes have some empathy! No some people don’t know what it is like. My husband unlived himself 2yrs and 4 months now. I struggle everyday. I figure out meals and yes one step away from possibly loosing my home but I keep pushing and trying hard. Yes just empathy for others. Ya never know what may happen in heartbeat to leave you jobless then hungry and then homeless

I said something very similar on another video. But the hardest pill to swallow with this whole thing is that she has been on food stamps before…this was a straight up ladder pull. And now she will be questioning where her next paycheck is coming from. Kindness is free, choose kindness. 💙
