I'm in the same boat but my periods were irregular but never painful. all of a sudden i havent had a period in a solid like 6 months and everything came back clear and she just told me go on BC and sometimes this is normal like bruh :/ i havent had one in almost 2 yrs now

I never had regular periods growing up my doctor always told me b/c I was overweight and stuck me on birth control. Here I am 28 struggling to get pregnant because no one wanted to listen to me 🥺 I hate drs sometimes!

They just don’t care about women’s health in general. On average women are 15-20% less likely to receive any form of pain medication compared to men with the SAME complaint. Women also on average experience longer wait times in the ER compared to men. In cases of abdominal pain for example- it was found that men on average waited 45 min. Where women waited an hour +. So there’s that 🙃 and people love to argue like there’s no gender bias in the medical world- like trust me - I KNOW BALL 😌 I’m sorry you’ve been dismissed- periods can be no joke but we’re just supposed to suck it up 😀 even just 7 years endometriosis was something doctors I went to see knew NOTHING about it- yet it’s so common. I don’t have it- thankfully,

Soooo real, I once bled nonstop for 3 months in a row it was awful!! I then got an iud which my body rejected because of the heavy flow 🫠 the only thing that has ever helped is managing my pcos with an endocrinologist and getting a v*ginal ultrasound/exploratory surgery so they could rule out cysts/fibroids/endo - my cycle is still crazy irregular but improving - hope u find relief soon!!!! ❤️🩹
