Tapper slow. When down to lowest possible dose, then go to weekly changes. Every other day for a week - then every other 2 days, etc., until you're down to one weekly. Trust me it takes a month or 2 but you'll be thankful for the lack of withdrawal symptoms 🩷

Your doctor didn’t prescribe something different when it wasn’t working? Or a lower dose?

Wow I’ve been taking it so long I don’t know what would be feeling myself. I tried getting of it but my emotions and anxiety were crazy off of it. I wish I could get off. My doctor made me see a therapist to help me with understanding that it’s ok to be on meds.

Hang on and do a planned tapering. Remember that it takes a week or more for it to leave your body. Be kind to yourself, you’ve got this.
