@barnardco: 🎨 Are your gradients looking a little… muddy? If you’re using two colours to make your gradient, sometimes you’ll find the colour in the middle can look really grey or muddy. This usually happens when you’re trying to use complementary colours that sit WAY across the colour wheel from one another. If this happens, try a colour stop. This is where you add in a third colour into the middle to bridge the gap between those two colours. This will soften that transition and leave you with a smooth looking gradient. In Illustrator, add a third colour to the middle using your gradient slider. Then if you press the Recolour Artwork button [Edit - Edit Colours - Recolour Artwork] and unlink your colours, you can drag your third colour somewhere between those two outer colours and find a more natural path from one to the other. Erik Kennedy (LearnUI) created a gradient tool that draws a curve AROUND the colour wheel between two colours (interpolation), rather than a straight line — so you never have that awful grey transition no matter which colours you choose, and it prevents banding. Highly recommend.

For anyone interested. This is because the screen is using the RGB color system while he is trying to achieve an RYB effect. Rgb is an additive color system using red blue and green as base colors while RYB is a subractive sustem using red yellow and blue as a base. RYB is used in painting with traditional colors while RGB is used for screens.
