BROWN BUTTER BUTTERFINGERS 🧈🤎🥜 For episode 1 of Homemade Halloween!! SOOO good & made with simple, wholesome ingredients 🙂‍↕️ Can’t wait to share all of my Halloween candy from scratch creations this next week—so stay tuned 👻  Brown Butter Butterfingers Recipe  1 & 1/4 cup creamy peanut butter  1/3 cup honey  1 tsp vanilla  1 tsp flaky salt  3 cups corn flakes  3 tbsp unsalted butter 1 & 1/2 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips  3 tsp coconut oil  Brown the butter. In a small saucepan, over low-medium heat, melt the butter. Stir frequently until it foams and turns brown releasing a nutty aroma. Turn off the heat and add in the corn flakes. Mix together until the corn flakes and coated in the brown butter. Set aside.  In a large mixing bowl, combine the peanut butter, honey, vanilla, and flaky salt until smooth. Fold in the brown butter corn flakes until combined.  Line a 9x9 baking dish with parchment paper. Press the peanut butter mixture firmly and evenly into the dish. Place the bars in the freezer for 30 minutes, or until they are set and firm.  Remove the bars from the freezer and lift out of the baking dish. Cut into 10 equal, bar-sized pieces.  In a small mixing bowl, melt the chocolate chips and coconut oil. Microwave in 20 second intervals, stirring between each until smooth and melted. Using a fork, dip each bar into the melted chocolate and fully coat. Place on a parchment paper lined tray. Drizzle with more chocolate and top with flaky salt.  Place the bars in the fridge for 20 minutes to set. Enjoy!
