THINK BEFORE YOU TAKE SIDES
I’ve learned to be very careful when it comes to issues between a man and a woman , especially when there’s no clear evidence.
When our Senator and the Senate President had issues and she accused the SP of harassment, I didn’t take sides. My stand was simple and still remains the same: until I see solid evidence, I can’t conclude who’s right or wrong.
Yesterday, I came across a very sad and disturbing story ,about a young lady who allegedly k!lled a man she claimed was trying to force himself on her.
I’ve read different versions of the story. Some people said the man was known to chase women , both single and married. Others said he wasn’t that kind of person at all.
But no matter the side anyone is taking, we can all agree on one thing: rape is evil and must be condemned in every sense.
No one deserves to be violated, and anyone guilty of such an act should face justice.
However, there are still many questions that remain unanswered:
1. What was the lady doing in the man’s house around 5 a.m.?
2. Where did the knife come from? Did she take it there, or did she grab it during a struggle?
3. Considering the man’s size, how did she overpower him enough to stab him in the neck, not hand, chest or stomach ?
4. If he was awake, is it possible he didn’t try to defend himself?
5. Could there have been a relationship between them and one part is no longer interested ?
6. Did she sustain any injury during the period of the attack she claimed?
I may be wrong, but something about the story doesn’t fully add up. Being in someone’s house at that hour suggests there might have been some form of relationship or understanding between them ,even if things later went wrong.
My point is simple, before you pick a side or pass judgment, be sure you understand the full story. Social media posts and comments don’t always tell the truth.
