@only.efff02: I’m slowly learning that life gets heavier when you keep trying to be who everyone else wants you to be. This book, The Courage to Be Disliked, reminded me that my worth doesn’t depend on how others see me. I don’t have to be trapped by my past or by people’s expectations. I’m allowed to choose my own path, make my own decisions, and create a life that feels true to me. It’s scary to disappoint people or to walk away from approval, but what’s even scarier is losing myself in the process. I’d rather be disliked for who I am than liked for a version of me that isn’t real.
