@itstherespawn: Elden Ring for the Nintendo Switch 2 has been delayed until 2026. Developer FromSoftware has revealed that the release of the Switch 2 “Tarnished Edition” will be pushed back to next year, to “allow time for performance adjustments." The version was originally set to arrive on Nintendo’s latest console this year, complete with base game plus the Shadow of the Erdtree DLC. Those that went hands-on with the game early noted that it suffered from performance issues, particularly when playing in handheld mode. The delay will likely be to address these concerns. FromSoftware issued a statement via their official X (Twitter) account, saying, “We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this may cause to all users who have been looking forward to the release of this title. We will continue to make adjustments to deliver it in the best possible form, so we kindly ask for your understanding. Thank you very much for your patience.” So far, a new release date has yet to be given for Elden Ring: Tarnished Edition outside of it being in 2026.
