I know it sucks for my boyfriend sometimes, I feel like I’m being annoying and making a scene.. but trust me if I eat somewhere new and it causes a dry heaving fit and I throw up it’s gonna be a much bigger scene.

I’m Autistic but in this instance I just smile and say fair enough; we’ll go to this restaurant here so that I can enjoy the food, and we’ll sort you something for you when we get home. No need to force the other person to eat where they don’t want to, but no reason for everyone to go hungry and wait either😊
