same thing happened to my Daughter. The meds she's on made her gain weight. You are still beautiful though 💜

I quit drinking 3 years ago now and weigh more now than when I did bc I'm on medicine mirtazapine and quetapine and im usually 125 all my life and wiegh 177 now it's insane I've never weighed this much but hey I'm happier than I've ever been so a win is a win

my ex just stopped drinking he got put on a medicine too. hes put on alot of weight but we all rather that happen rather than the other outcome!! 🙏❤

Give it time. It’s only been a month. Meds made me gain weight too, but I eventually lost it once I got off. Congrats on your sobriety!

when I went to get help I was 98lbs at 5'11 and now I'm 155 that's sober weight and it just makes us look healthy again after years of active addiction.

My daughter started taking abilify and weighed 120 when started and got up to 165 in 3 months. Her Dr took her off of it. Weight gain actually isn’t a very common side effect with Abilify. It was actually the only medication that has worked for her for her anxiety/depression 🙁
