Must haves to look for when shopping flea markets (or any secondhand shopping) 🤠 Hats—I am always on the hunt for old hats. They may be a little grungy or stained but those are beauty marks to a vintage lover. Plus, you can take hats to Boot Barn and they’ll reshape or clean up for you. And you can also clean it up yourself. Tons of hat cleaning kits available. Scarves—Scarves are versatile which make them a staple in my closet. I wear them around my head as a wrap, wear them as wraps over a dress, love to wrap handles or purses with them. The possibilities are endless. And when you find them secondhand they are a fraction of the cost. Jewelry— Finding vintage pieces are extra special in my closet because I feel like they come with somebody’s story. I love being able to re-wear somebody else’s jewelry that probably held a special memory for them and now I get to wear them with a special memory. Not to mention the jewelry was just more beautiful Back in time. Shoes—This one can be tough especially when you want the trending shoe. Do I think you deserve an exception, sure. I bought these retail. Just don’t over consume. Buy that one trending shoe you want then thrift the rest. Most all my cowgirl boots are secondhand from flea markets. I patiently waited for them. These jelly sandals on the other hand, I wanted them now. (Ps they are @sam_edelman and I highly recommend them) And if you don’t live near a flea market, don’t worry still lots of online secondhand shopping. @gem.search @ebay @Etsy @Poshmark @Depop #secondhand #thrift #fleamarketfinds #preloved #vintage #thrifttips #fleamarkettips
