Media Buyers, Brands and Agencies! This Post is for you ⬇️ Last week Meta was kind enough to invite me down to their annual performance summit. They showcased a handful of new features coming down the pipe and had a ton of great case studies to go through. Here are my top 6 takeaways: 1.) Data matters more than ever. This is no surprise but the importance of strong data quality was really hammered during this event. There's so many new Ai features coming and they will not be able to optimize without strong, accurate data. It is still recommended to have CAPI AND Browser Pixel 2.) Omnichannel ads are coming. For folks who run Ecommerce AND physical brick and motor locations, this will be game changing. This ties into the need for strong data being fed into the system and will require offline conversions or a POS integration. More details to come! 3.) Incremental attribution is changing the way teams view performance. When I was first briefed on incremental attribution by Meta last year, my initial reaction was that it would primarily be used as a justification tool, a way for agencies and media teams to justify spending on the platform. I was surprised to see that brands who tested incremental attribution saw an average of 46% improvement to performance. I see this as a great attribution model to use in conjunction with 7 day click, 1 day view, 1 day engaged. They highlighted that Gen Z is significantly less likely to purchase from clicking on an ad directly, but this doesn't mean they weren't influenced by the ad. Incremental attribution helps bridge the gap. 4.) Ai chat bots are coming. At the event, Meta showcased a new feature that will be rolling out soon. They demo'd a user seeing an ad, then opening up a verbal chat to ask questions. The bot was trained on the business data and was able to guide the customer through the purchase. It even was able to offer a discount to push them to convert. 5.) Creators are still a really big deal. With Ai creating a ton of creative volume, real authentic connection will become more important than ever. I heard from multiple brands that are continuing to invest into this as a creative pillar. Meta also has made it easier to collaborate via Partnership Ads. They also finally made it possible to run a partnership ad directly from the influencer page. (aka whitelisting). 6.) Make ads for Reels placements. Since the

Make ads for Reels placements. Since the "tiktokification" of the internet, consumers have transitioned to primarily consuming this type of content. This goes with what i've been saying for years. Make ads that don't look like ads. Make your ads blend in with what users consume on a daily basis. Make content, not commercials.
