I’m guilty of doing that and I’m kurdiye but I was raised like an iraqiye. So I had a coworker who was Lebanese and she even thought I was Lebanese bc I would switch to her accent 😭

I had to speak Syrian for 8 years with my Syrian friends and if I say a word in the iraqi dialect accidentally they start laughing, and then say after that speak iraqi we love the iraqi accent

My Iraqi parents always told me to keep speaking Iraqi when talking to Arabs from other countries. And they always stood on business aswell. 💪💪
