Before I became disabled, I was an auto body tech. I would attempt to do a quick job even on trailers and such, but always ended up making a big job out of it since "I'm already here, might as well fix everything else" 1 day job turns into a 2 week job quick.

My 99 got an upgrade on those sun faded plastic headlights…I went to pick-n-pull and found the newest headlights of similar size (Range rover lights) and cobbled them it there. Some Missouri shops won’t even pass it because it isn’t original (some mechanics need to understand the intent of regulations) yes it’s ugly but by god it’s functional. The stories give them Character 😎
