If we’re taking it seriously that OPM has decent-good writing, then people need to stop treating it as a gag series where Saitama beats everyone in fiction just because he’s called “One Punch Man” You cannot have a series with good writing and storytelling focus, and it also being a gag joke series, those don’t work hand in hand. If it was a gag series then everything would be messy and random for comedic effect, not writing focused, and if it’s writing focused then it can’t be messy and random so it cant be a gag series
