I def don’t agree at least for myself. I don’t like full coverage and I feel like it helps that I spread my foundation out kinda of blending all over with my fingers. I love how it looks like w just a sponge

I always have dry patches and flaky skin though and any time I’ve used a brush it accentuates them whereas a sponge is more gentle and doesn’t bring out my dry patches

It honestly depends for me what tool I will use to apply depending on what finish I want. Natural vs full coverage. But I agree, I’ve become more of a brush girlie nowadays! I also think certain foundations are meant to be applied with a brush!! Haus Labs, for example. I tried to apply with with a sponge and it looked yuckyyyy. But with a brush? Omg beautiful fantastic amazing. Also, opinions on hand application? I don’t prefer it but there are certain things I do thing look better applied with fingers! 🫣

Once you get the technique down with using a brush your base will come out perfect every single time! Most foundation brush you need to work the product into the brush then apply onto skin!

I use brushes for EVERYTHING and then go over my face with a sponge before I set to take off excess. Literally get a flawless base with no cakeyness!
