I give it a 9/10 All the "Complaints" are just nitpicky issues that have 0 impact on the game. The windows dont affect the game itself... The pokemon battles are fun, Catching pokemon is fun and the map is fun to explore IMO soo yeah It could be better but it runs well and is fun to play thats all I need from a Pokémon game.

NPCs are completely frozen in place, the buildings are bland and completely flat textures. EVERYTHING looks exactly the same everywhere in the city. Pokemon are just scattered around meaninglessly. These are the things that those of us who grew up on pokemon (I’m 27) are keeping us from playing or supporting this game. Pokemon was never just about collecting and battling. It was also about being in a beautiful world with heart and soul and meaning. Wild Pokemon existed in the environments that fit their typing or design. NPCs would be riding bikes, sitting, talking with each other, walking around, running, etc. every town/city had a different vibe and design to it and different music for every city/town. This game just makes me so sad to look at. I want to feel like I am in a world of life and instead it’s just some backrooms esqe nightmare. Such a huge let down, even with factoring in the insane price of the game and the DLC. This game shows that Nintendo has no care for what actually made us all fall in love with Pokemon.

Imo it’s REALLY good and definitely worth my money, plus it’s technically only 60 and the Switch 1 version is good. This is the most fun I’ve had playing a pokemon game, and this game looks good and the character look really nice. I’ve put ~20 hours already and got it a few days ago.

I went into the game, head down, zero expectations, watch zero leaks, and I enjoy the hell out of the game. I think people get too hype up on new games coming out that they’re expectations far surpass what the game allows, I dunno I like it though 🤷♂

I'm a pokemon fan, been playing since I was 7. I'm in my mid 20s now and this game did nothing "revolutionary" foe the franchise, it's legit arceus... with worse graphics (on the switch 1 port) smaller map, and the same battle system, granted we have more balls but this legit could've been a legends arceus DLC without its story. It's fine to enjoy it, but it is severely lacking.
