@jacee_reads: Gosh, I‘ve had the busiest week! But finally I was able to put my convention haul together. I honestly did not plan to get any books this time because first and foremost: My preorder list is longer than I am tall. And I‘m 1,70m (5‘7)! But @Jasmin, @Anna and I got into a conversation with @Sandra J. Paul, author and had the most interesting discovery. Do you (maybe) remember when you read books as a child and you, as the reader, had the possibility to chose which path the main character should take? I remember books that made it possible for me to chose which scenario I wanted to read next. Her books are just like that! You read part one and then FLIP the book to go on. Isn‘t that delightful?! I am absolutely thrilled. So of course I couldn’t chose and had to get not one but two. • The Last Days Of Holly Hayes & • Whispers Of The Forgotten You need to look into those. __ Naturally we had to go to @Bücherbüchse and even though I managed to keep myself from buying the edition when it first got online I wasn’t as strong with the real thing in hand. I caved and got the german edition of ‚Lights Out‘ by @Navessa Allen too. I mean, come on! This book is funny, thrilling and - Josh?! Honestly, I deserve an award for owning only two copies so far. Now books aside, the only had actually planned to spend money was bookish merch from @Buchdeckel. I love her online store and the way Christina listens to the bookish community, so this was a must have for me. Every merch (Except the standee) is from her shop and she regularly restocks her products, so if you saw something you like - feel free to hop over to her profile. We even managed to have a conversation with her, and she‘s just as nice irl as we assumed. The girls at the booth were lovely too! I managed to snag * Two Kindle Inlays (Fourth Wing, Vampire) * Fourth Wing Keychain * Fourth Wing Kindle Socket * Clear Binder with different sheets * Fourth Wing Dust Plug * Throne of Glass Kindle Sleeve in Green * Panem Bookmark And I even got a Throne of Glass Bag as present! Honestly, I regret not getting a Kindle Charm. I mean, we do need more of those in our life! Lastly Jasmin shared her ‚The Deadly Side of Love‘-Box from @leaf.verlag with me because she wanted the plushie so badly but already had the book.
