In a world that constantly shits on poor people, the makeup, nails and hair might be the only thing that makes them feel like a human being. Additionally, you have to be presentable to get a job and depending on the job you may be expected to dress a certain way and look nice.

No one has a problem with anyone buying stuff at dollar tree to make themselves presentable.. We have a problem with the folks who get thousands of assistance per month and then they are bragging about it on tik tok and we all know the difference. We have a problem with people who abuse the system and sell their food stamps to make money. Then the ones who need the assistance don't get what they need because of the abusers. You are going to keep paying out more and more money so people can abuse the system?

no it's because they come on social media bragging and throwing it in people faces that are really struggling but can't qualify cuz they make too much but still can't afford their bills or to live. everyone wants to be food stamps rich too.

I don't think that people realize that most of those recipients work full time jobs!The hate is insufferable at this point.I don't receive them.I am considered poor,but I cook for my neighbors and they are Caucasian!I love my neighbors and they love me!!

Because after I pay my own bills, I don’t have the money to do my hair and nails all the time I never had lashes in my life so I pay for your food so you can afford to look good and then I pay for my own food and I don’t have the money for those luxuries
