If you’re new in Beijing I highly recommend the hutongs around Drum tower and zhonglou. Very close to there is my favourite little hutong restaurant and cafe. It’s next to a hotel called The Orchid on Baochao Hutong, there’s a mezze restaurant called Toast and a Cantonese place called Furongji. Both def worth checking out.
