For the non readers: Cassie, the girl, is blind! . As the most well known webnovel, I used to avoid it because it was mainstream, thankfully one day I gave it the chance it deserved. It's honestly the only webnovel I can recommend to any kind of person, gender, age, or other differences in ideals, I find it irrelevant when suggesting Shadow Slave. It feels trully human, and the world itself there feels like an actual existance, with natural laws that connect with each other like a link. I was pleasantly satisfied to find the main male character to be next to two humanly written girls. In fact, my favourite scene is when Cassie is worried about her untidy skirt in front of her mother. She got embarrassed, how lovely and how human I thought. It showed so much of her in a simple scene. I'm glad G3 added that scene, others would find it pointless... . While reading, and specifically in this very chapter, I realized how... Again, human... Cassie was. The way she got frustrated, the way she kept quiet, the way she blames herself, the way she is upset with Sunny's displeasure. Being this disoriented, helpless and regretful. The way she grew, and the way she was hurt. As someone with a fairly welcoming home, I feel most comfortable with Cassie's character. And she definitely holds a special place in my heart. I remember reading comments saying how they hate it, before chapters 1200 (my first read), and I just couldn't understand how people can't see her. Perhaps our Cassie sees far more than needed, doesn't she? . And Sunless... What can I say about you, just hurry up and end your nightmare 😭😭kidding of course. Early chapters were huge Sunssie content, I almost believed they were a ship. Our Sunless has grown too... He has become... More human too, but the funny thing is that in order to become more human, he threaded the path of a monster first.
