I agree with all of this. I spent a majority of my early 20s working on myself I felt undesirable and was told by the opposite sex that I was too successful too smart too independent last year I dated for like nine months in total trying to have a boyfriend for the first time in my life and I realized that dating wasn’t working for me because I knew who I was. I wasn’t gonna let someone emotionally manipulate they were an accessory not something that I needed and that’s why dating was hard because men nowadays don’t like that and now I’m in a phase in my life where if it happens great but it’s not a priority nor am I going to change the way that I live my life just so I can have a man. And it was through therapy then I was able to work through why it wasn’t working and all of that.
