There’s so many military and I’m sure federal workers who live paycheck to paycheck to support our families. If we miss our first of month paycheck, most of us won’t be able to pay our rent. So frustrating 😭

they more worried about healthcare and now they are taking away other benefits from americans this is ridiculous a decision needs to be made and reopen the government this has gone on long enough. why keep voting if they haven’t agreed on anything or sat down and tried to compromise just to come out with the same failed decision . i just don’t understand!

Pls touch on the SBA and how the shutdown is cutting off hundreds of thousands of businesses from critical lending. Many can ONLY get loans thru SBA for payroll, inventory or expansion. This is going to squeeze EVERYONE in a few weeks. I’m a premiere SBA lender/broker. Pls pls talk about it this.

My feeling - They are going to use this shutdown as an excuse to deem Congress ineffectual, declare an emergency and throw all power behind the executive giving Trump and his administration the power to use funds as they see fit without the checks and balances we are used to. He keeps saying, “Democrat programs are going to go away and the shutdown is giving me the power to do that” It’s in his project 2025. I keep hoping it’s not true but it’s playing out exactly as it’s written. I hope I’m wrong but my 90 year old MAGA aunt said something a few months ago which just came back into my mind this morning, she said “Trump is going to get rid of Congress because they are “corrupt“ and I thought that was some strange conspiracy theory she had latched onto, but now, the focus is coming into light. I truly think we are at that precipice right now.
